Because Vitamin C has an opposite effect. You would think
that it would make you body more acid. But in reality, it
makes you body more alkaline. The intestinal tract needs
to be slightly acidic but not too much so, but the body
outside of the intestinal tract needs to be alkaline. This
is why Grapefruit Juice works wonders in reducing acid reflux.
I use it regularly, and it works wonders. An apple can do the same thing.
Confusing, but true. Also, from my own personal experience, I would
highly recommend vitamin C infusions. I am sure there could be complications
as with anything, but the vitamin C infusion saved my life, literally.
Chemotherapy was putting me in the hospital emergency room and weakening my
heart severly. Vitamin C infusion turned that all around. I was really
angry that the doctors gave me my third chemo treatment because I was terrified that I wouldn't make it through since the first two had weakened me almost to the point of death. Vitamin C completely revitalized me and I was a whole new person after that. I would never take chemo again without it. I was truly a miracle for me. I was referred to this method by another cancer survivor who told me that she was terribly sick from chemo as well. She told me that she only became strong again after she started on Vitamin C infusions. In the patient room, I met several other people who could only rave about their experience with this treatment. And so, until you have gone through a serious illness and experienced different treatments firsthand, you might want to hold your tongue.
