Me too...I physically cannot eat meat like that, I cannot physically bring myself to do it, so that's why I find the Candida diet hard to do. If I have meats, it has to be in the amount nature intended it..small amounts, and not used as a main dish. I'm not a big fan of meats anyway, and while on the strict diet, it seemed I couldn't have meats any other way but plain, and that alone could make dinner, or life, unbearable. No thanks. Also the arguments about grains/carbs never made much sense to me. This grain is okay, that one is not...when comparing grains with the same amount of carbs/sugar? Says who? Scarface, my homeopath did make me aware of the white tongue being from poor digestion, me and the baby both had it. When I had real thrush on the tongue, I knew it. It is much thicker than that and it is painful and scratchy and just awful. And I must have read other literature...that says in medieval times, people were constantly gorging themselves on sugar and flour...people were actually very fat and this was considered to be a sign of good health then. Just sayin.
