Well, I wasn't able to do the 2 cups of oil... On my previous flush I did one cup mixed with a cup of day-old grapefruit juice. I gagged so much I could barely get it down! At the time, I attributed it to not using fresh juice, however in hindsight, I think I've just developed a subconcious aversion to it. I've perfected the recipe to the point that the taste doesn't bother me anymore, however I always get very nauseaus a few hours afterwards. Perhaps I gag because my subconcious mind knows that it will lead to nausea...

This time, I wasn't even able to drink the one cup of oil. I managed to get down about 2/3 of a cup of oil (plus the juice), but knew that I'd vomit if I tried to drink anymore. The other problem was that I didn't add enough juice. This made the mixture thicker and more difficult to get down. After drinking about half of it, I decided to add some water to dilute it some more - this helped a lot - but it was too late, I was already too nauseaus to continue on to the second cup...

Fortunately, my flush was successful anyway! I don't know if more oil is better - perhaps it isn't, or perhaps it doesn't really matter. For the first time (after about seven flushes) I had dark-green stones come out (like the ones I've seen in photographs.) Usually I just have the bright green and tan ones. I'd noticed that these almost always were dark green on the inside. Does the darker color indicate that they are older? The centers would of course be older than the outsides. This time, however, they were even dark on the outside. I'd estimate I got out about 30 stones - and some were pretty big. After my previous cleanse, my chemical sensitivities were better, but my food allergies and digestion suddenly became much worse. Perhaps these old stones got dislodged but weren't fully expelled. Perhaps they got stuck, and this caused my food allergies to get worse. Hopefully, after this last flush my food allergies will be better (I haven't tried eating yet today.)
