Dr Mom, this thread was started in the Diet & Nutrition Forum because it has to do with organic gardening and we are talking about a plant based diet on this forum. The Webmaster saw fit to cross post it to almost all forums on CZ, he thought it was that important. I found he was the one who did it in the Webmasters Debate Forum.
I agree with everything you've said, we the people should have stood up to the government a long time ago but we failed to do it. I think we should all write to our congressmen and let them know how we feel, after all they are elected to their positions. I don't know at this point what good it will do but the more that participate in that action the better chance we have, no more sticking our head in the sand.
I applaud you for not backing down in the face of intimidation, it's too bad there aren't more people like you, we might not be in the position we're in now if we did.
This has turned into a political discussion, I can only hope the people who elected our commander in chief because they looked at him as their savior are now opening their eyes and seeing him for exactly what he is.
I don't believe in having a 'doomsday' attitude either, but I think like you said we should all be prepared for what's coming because it will come sooner rather than later and we all need to be ready to take care our ourselves, our loved ones, and as many people as we can.
