 So should we be including more acidic foods? I had some tests done and the practioner said my body was already too acidic (probably from all the candida toxins) and he said I needed to be more alkaline...which I thought I was doing by eating veggies etc. Sorry am a bit confused.

Contrary to popular belief Candida rarely goes systemic. Keeping the stomach acidic will not only help to keep Candida down in the stomach, but this will also increase the absorption of nutrients needed to keep a healthy immune system that will help keep Candida in check.

As for acidity, this is pretty much a myth as well. The body must maintain a very narrow pH range to survive. This is why the body has so many redundant processes to prevent the body from becoming too acidic or too alkaline.
