this is the polarization issue that patientadvocate is talking about.

these people are "polarized" against "natural" healing, as we can be, and are, "polarized" against pharmedico for any number of reasons, including human\self centric thought, pharmedico's past (I.G. Farben, etc.), education, ego, arrogance, the history of abuse, profiteers, and quacks on either side of the issue, etc.

I do not think we progress the natural health cause, any more than pharmedico advances their "cause" by being combative or using militant gestapo like tactics.

When my left leg was nearly severed in a motorcycle accident, I would have lost it right at, or just below the knee (my knee was a mess too) if it were not for a great E.R. staff and "modern" medicine who put it back togther, minus the missing pieces, with over 1500 stitches and nearly a 6 hour surgery, which I was awake, and talked through with a local... we need to get beyond allowing ourselves to become polarized and find a way to get the best of both worlds to fore.

It is very difficult not to get emotional and polarized about the issue as both sides believe human life and health to be at stake.

patientadvocate has a great point in this regard as I hope I have illustrated.

This polarization is a problem in many other circles as well, such as politics, religion, most all areas of science, etc.

It is this "polarization" that prevents us from moving forward, either on our own, or together.
