A release 4 hours later can happen. Be glad it's out! Feelings of nausea can accompany a release. I have this too, so it should be fine.

Colon might feel tender. Did they massage you a lot? Just watch it for a bit and determine how tender. They should not be massaging you with their elbows. Hands and electric massagers are good.

If they are using gravity method and doing "tie-offs" with the tube. You should tell them to release when you feel pressure. There is no benefit to allowing the pressure to build unreasonably. A tie-off should not generally be for more than 60 seconds. Most people feel uncomfortable at between 30-60 seconds, sometimes less.

I assume it was not a machine colonic? I understand that it is possible for a machine to put too much water in, though rare. I have no experience with machines, but would not have a machine colonic myself. The gravity method is very safe and depends on communication, ie. you tell the therapist when you feel pressure.
