I pay for my health insurance and car insurance myself.
The situation you describe tiki does not involve preexisting illness because the people had insurance when they lost their jobs.
Here in L.A. , many people cant afford car insurance or medical insurance because they had five illegitimate children before age 25 and before they learned a word of English.
I have $ 2500 deductible on my medical insurance which holds down the cost somewhat. I should get a discount because I am a thin nonsmoker , nondrinker and I exercise .
