the "science" here is not anywhere near linear and most (nearly all) people cannot get their heads wrapped around the bigger, much more complex picture...

Thus these issues will always be debated by linear science thinkers...

In its simplest form, there is a reaction... the reaction is ionic in nature... a reaction between positive and negative charges, alkaline/acid, however one would like to put it...

Obviously NOTHING happens in any event, if substances of equal charges (acid with like acid - alkaline with like alkaline) are thrown together... energy is only released when substances of different charges react one with the other.

Does it happen over night - NO!

Does it happen at such a rapid rate as to cause one grief... IT CAN! If someone is over zealous with either the high quality alkaline foods and/or "alkalizing" protocol, MLs or other.

If you look at both lists, I think that the correlation is extremely strong and very convincing...
