My parents still go to the same doctor.

The same doctor that treated my mother for blood pressure she didn't have. What with a low salt diet and these drugs that were durectics, caused all the salt to be flushed from her body, which in turned caused mental illness and hospitalization. She had impharts (little bleeds) in her brain. She went several times to say she felt unwell, she didn't know what was happening to her and was slowly sinking into a depression but he just brushed her aside. Keep taking the tablets. By her behaviour she was crying out for help, but no one heard her, especially not the doc. We just thought it was old age and mental decline.
It then got really bad, she was a nervous wreck.
We had to beg him to even hospitalize her, she was literally going out of her head with anquish/anxiety. He didn't even seem to care. It has taken a few years for her to recover, but she is still not right, and taking drugs. She wouldn't be here now if we hadn't insisted she go to hospital.

Yet they still go to him. He would be struck off if i had my way. I don't think he even apologised.

But we are of a different generation, so we don't hail to the god doctor, and we have the internet, and more knowledge available to us, so their reign of total supremacy is crumbling thank God.
