Had the same problem, Adrenal herbs save me!

Not sure where you've gotten with this condition, but it's identical from what I was suffering from. I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned needing coffee to prevent the labored breathing.

Since I've begun a host of herbs in bulk powder form to treat my adrenals it's been like night & day. I would highly suggest getting onto Amla, Ashwagandha, Astragalus & Schizandra in 1tsp each 3 times per day. Within 2 weeks it made a greater difference for me than any detoxification, cleanse or flush I had tried.

I had thought it was my lungs but as it turns out it really had to do with weakened adrenal function. Now of course there is very likely a root cause or many in this case that led to it, but at the very least the herbs can help stabalize your condition which I know if you're going through what I went through it tremendous since I literally felt like everyday I wasn't sure if I'd make it through alive with my breathing becoming weaker & unable to bring in oxygen or at least thats how it felt.
