Hello everyone! My daughter has been battling psoriasis since she was a baby. She's 13 now. The problem is the psoriasis is confined to the buttock areas & also her scalp & ears. I took her to the doctor about 4 years ago & they thought she had a yeast infection. 2 years ago, she went to a dermatologist who diagnosed her with psoriasis. She's been on all kinds of medication since then: hydrocortisone 4%, nystatin cream, clobetasol o.o5%, triamcinolon 0.1%, desonide cream 0.05%, ketoconazole 2%, mometasone 0.1%. They all provided temporary relief, but once she stopped using it even for a day, the problem came back. Since some of these contain steroids, I decided to stop application and look for something natural to use. Her skin is all flakey, dried & thinned out from the medications plus due to her scratching, it was quite bloody & scratched up. So about a week ago, I applied neosporin for 2 nights. Then on the 3rd night, I had her sit in a mixture of apple cider vinegar 5% acidity(1 part vinegar to 5 parts water) for about 15 minutes. Right away, I could see the vast improvement in her skin. I had her apply "Doctor's Defense". So she's been doing this for almost one week now and her skin has healed so much. It's not thinned out anymore. There is no bleeding, no cuts, no redness. She also said that it's not itching anymore. I also have her apply the mixture to her ears and scalp with a cotton ball and it is also look so much better. I will slowly wean her and have her sit in the mixture every other night and see how that goes. Will report back in a couple of weeks.
