electrotherapy for venomous bites

A very controversial subject but I'm a great believer that that electrotherapy is a successful treatment for illnesses and diseases as well as venomous bites and stings.I suppose the most widely known example of this being used for snakebite is seen in the work of Dr Guderian.

I know most Doctors and Scientists have gone to great lengths in proving this treatment does not work.Obviously it is unclear exactly how the shock effects and heals the affected person/animal.Does it effect the enzymes or the trace minerals found in these venoms?
Or does it merely restrict the blood vessels and contain the venom to the initial bite/sting area,until the venom becomes inactive,while providing an anti-inflammatory,pain relieving effect? I've personally witnessed its success a few times,and it absolutely amazes me!
