Sorry to disagree with you but pathogens, especially parasitic organisms thrive in acidic environments because they are intrinsically low in oxygen. Otto Warburg stated in 1931 that cancer was acidic. Furthermore, depending on the acidity of the body, not the blood, nutrients cannot be absorbed or they are only partially absorbed. Either way, the best efforts of supplements are unrealized. Alkalinty is everything in regards to health. When we are acidic the body stores the extra acid in fat cells, this condition will not change untill the acidity has been neutralized. This why most diets fail and even exercise does not always yield results. If you are acidic you can peddle your butt off and not lose any weight. ascorbic acid is effective only because it satiates the electrons needs of free radicals which cause cellular damage and cause plaque. This is why Selenium is essential for cancer patients. So much pain and suffering could be stopped if we just taught our doctors basic chemistry...
