Thought I would give a little more information about my experience with the bicarbonate of soda in the retention enema that I did to replace the colonic Dr. Simonchini recommends.
Here is my experience and here are my thoughts. Yeast or candida will cause leaky gut syndrome. Until it's gone, the colon and small intestines can't heal very well. So, when doing the bicarbonate in the water, maybe some got into my bloodstream. I got quite a bit of Herxheimer reaction from it and could feel lots of stuff that felt like little stinging/snapping feelings in my organs and intestines. This could have been the yeast die-off. Strange, but interesting experiment. I'm doing lots better after the 4 days of doing it.
