tiny white spots on upper lip?! protopic?

i've been on protopic for 3 weeks and since then my lips have barely crusted (besides for a thin, mushy layer on the inside of the lips). It seems that the crusting on my upper lip has been replaced by small white spots. was wondering what they were and if anyone else had them? it also seems like a small, rather inocuous pimple has emerged on my upper lip. this is the first time that this has happened too. anyways my lips are pretty sore at the moment and i am supposed to stop applying the protopic now so was wondering if anyone had advice on a new regimen?
