The op was wondering what the risks are and there seem to be some which were hi-lighted by some posters. Fair enough. You weighed those out in your case, made a decision and are happy with that decision, proving once again that there is no definitive "shoulds" in any case. You should actually be commended for exercising the power of your mind and making a responsible choice based on your perceptions and information.
The trouble that has occurred in this particular thread is that one notorious poster has a habit of defining his answer as the only valid one and then bites at anything that suggests there may be another choice. Then anyone that has a differing opinion is labeled as stupid etc, by him.
Not exactly a catalysts for a positive and nuturing sharing environment in a support forum.
What you did was share with honesty and integrity. Thank you.
