Looks like dead tapeworm segments to me. When a parasite dies high up in the body it can take the body a while to move it out through the colon. The mucous just coats the "bad stuff" to help protect you from the toxins that the dead parasites put off.

The seed looking things are egg sacs from the tapeworm. Beef and fish tapeworm infections are just 1 "mother" tapworm. Each segment of the tapeworm has both male and female reproductive parts - they mate and the segment will fill up with eggs. When full - the segment breaks away from the mother tapeworm. These can look like seeds, grains of rice, peanuts or corn (depending on the type of tapeworm).

When the tapeworm dies - it dies from bottom to top. You will see lots of segments - then longer sections of the flat tapeworm itself. These look like old, dead tapeworm long segments to me.
