I would do two things. I would begin taking a ton of Vitamin C ( if you are diabetic, it can elevate blood sugar, so proceed cautiously).That will act as a diuretic, and decrease swelling. I would also try using topical DMSO , which will wipe out pain from strains and pulls. As for peripheral arterial disease, the triad per Pauling and Rath is Vit C 20 grams, L-lysine 6 grams, L-proline 4.5 grams per day. Personally, I would also add bromelain ( must be minimally 8,500 gelatin digestive units to have a cardiovascular effect). Divide the C/lysine/proline into three doses , and take with meals. Signs of a deep vein thrombosis would be leg pain and tenderness, increased warmth, swelling, CALF TENDERNESS ( a biggie), redness, bluish skin, discomfort when the leg is pulled up. It is impossible to DX online, but I would think you would have pain all the time with a DVT. As for obesity, begin by buying a small blood glucose unit. Check your sugar. If your blood sugar is high,that is going to contribute significantly to appetite.remember, athletes inject insulin to gain mass, it is anabolic, the antithesis of glucagon, which is catabolic. With high blood sugar, your cells are starving. Also, you MUST AVOID ALL artificial sweeteners. Robert Atkins ( low carb King) found that patients could gain up to 3 pounds a day even when consuming low caloric amounts. Before his untimely death, he reversed his positive position on artificial sweeteners. They are just poison,and make many obese people gain a lot of weight. Best of luck to you. Lisa
