This is really difficult for me to admit... I was in shock when the Doc told me what the X-Ray saw... because I pay attention to my bowels and they are working normally, now.
There was a time when I got constipated, several years ago, and I got right on it, cleaned myself out, or so I thought.
The X-Ray showed that my Ascending Colon has hardened stool in it, probably from that time when I was constipated [the Doc suggested].
Doc explained to me that real "stool" is not formed until the liquid slurry gets to the Descending colon, and that it should all be liquid in the Ascending colon.
So how the heck can I get THAT moving? The new food just moves right past this hardened mass.
I guess that all I can do is to try to "shit myself silly" with enemas and flaxseed and other bowel-healthy foods, and Cascara Sargada if I can find some, maybe laxitives, and hope that the hardened mass in my Ascending colon moves out, but that is probably wishfull thinking.
I sure do not look forward to living with it. It will become cancerous or otherwise diseased, I am sure. It must be part of the reason I get fatigued, etc.
Is anyone here familiar with this particular problem? I would really appreciate hearing from you!!
