I would suggest a more cautious approach...

Pills and drops both work, but I would suggest limiting the daily amount to 5000 IU per day. It will take several months to get your levels up, so you may want to get some exposure to sun during the summer as well.

This slow approach allows your body to adjust to having more D3 available. It also allows you to get your minerals in balance. Suddenly increasing D3 often results in symptoms of magnesium deficiency.

After a couple of months have your levels checked again to review your progress.

This recommendation is not very popular because people tend to want instant results, but if you think about it, you may find that it actually makes more sense.
