If I may ask, do they start as a faint reddish spot - very tender like there might be a thorn (too small to see) in the skin - almost a stinging. After a day or two, still very tender, but more like a blister deep underneath (which never bursts) - and a day or two later, as it gets less sensitive, there is almost a tiny gray spot - like a pinpoint - in the middle. And then does it go away? I've had something like this going on for a couple months. My 11 year old daughter does too. They appear on our hands, coming and going, for a few weeks, then stop for awhile. Then come and go again. It's uncomfortable, but doesn't seem serious, and is more of a nuisance. I went to the Dr. once and he diagnosed molloscum contagiosum (I think) but when I researched it, the article said it rarely if ever happens on the palms, and yet my daughter and I have them on the palms and the palmar suface of our fingers as much as the outside. So, I don't know. I've never been able to figure out what they were. What we experience does not seem at all like a bacterial infection. And they don't itch.

Is this anything like what you experience?
