My Experiences Healing from AF

But seriously folks, I found out I had AF 16 years ago. Before that, I started experiencing severe depressions when I was 14. I was hospitalized for suicidal ideation when I was 31. When I was 32 I realized I actually had bipolar II, also known as hypomanic depression. After that I experienced more depression, along with insomnia, severe appetite loss, and weight loss. The latter two were a serious concern because I'm quite thin. My weight went from 130 lb., which is normal for me, to 118 lb. That's a serious concern for a male who is 5'8".

I went to a ND who diagnosed me as having severe AF. She prescribed some supplements which didn't help me, and I got worse. I was hospitalized again when I became suicidal. A short time later I started taking adrenal drops and adrenal complex capsules. I improved immediately, and was fine for six months. I made some mistakes with my recovery, and had a relapse. I started taking milk thistle after I did some colon cleansing. The former caused my liver to start releasing a lot of old toxins, and my adrenals crashed. The liver detox continued, and caused my adrenals to crash numerous times. I added licorice solid extract to my supplementation program, and took it to give my adrenals a boost on challenging days.

About three years ago my adrenals started improving rapidly. I phased out my adrenal drops, licorice solid extract, then my adrenal complex capsules. My detox continues to this day, but doesn't have an effect on my adrenals. Today I take adrenals drops as needed when I'm starting to experience stress on an emotional level. This is rare.
