not a cyst...but...swollen lymph nodes !

So glad I found this forum, and the miracle of water fasting.

I've been doing some short fasts 1-2.5 days to loose weight and detox, but my main goal now is to cure a problem with my hip that I have had for 1.5 years.

I thought it was a cyst in my groin, but it is swollen lymph nodes, almost all the ones in my left groin and thigh !

Is it normal for the lymph nodes to harden due to fasting, until everything is detoxed? I have been doing a self massage tonight and so many nodes are hard!

I had to switch to driving an auto from a clutch a few months back as my leg was so bad, but no-one knew what the problem was.

While doing a 2.5 day water fast a couple of weekends ago I felt a throbbing pain in my groin and started to investigate it. I thought it may have been a spermatic cord cyst but went to the G.U clinic today and they said it is not and the things I could feel that were hard were lymph nodes, so been investigating them tonight.

My worst fear is it is prostate cancer or such like, that has spread into the surrounding area. I am only 36 years old though so that would be unlikely (I think).

symptoms since it started are:
whole left side of body tingles after masturbation, feels like i've been electrocuted.

constant dull pains in my hip, sometimes it feels like muscle pain other times like bone/joint pain.

numb and tingling leg and foot a lot of the time.

very tight muscles when I was trying to stretch them a while ago.


better speak to my doctors with my new found discovery of lymph nodes (doctors are useless)

EDIT: forgot to mention, it does seem a lot better since I started fasting, although their is the getting worse before getting better feeling as well. I'm going to be doing a 5 day water fast this weekend.
