For anyone interested...I went to see my accupuncturist today who is also a TCM practitioner. I have already done the anti-candida diet, taken antifungals, natural antibiotics, eaten fermented foods, etc...and still a white tongue. She recommended i follow a different diet and we'll see how it goes. It's a diet to get rid of dampness......what is recommended is 10% protein, 30-40% carbohydrates (from good sources you know the ones), and 40-50% veggies. I've really had a lot of protein and nuts since I was on the anti-candida diet but never seemed to improve...I always feel better eating grains...we'll see if eating less protein and more grains helps...keeping my diet more low fat than high fat.

If you'd like to know more let me know and I'll provide the exact guidelines she gave to me.

To the original poster of this message wawaweena: maybe eating so much meat is the problem...just a guess.
