Liver Flush #2

Hello All,
Well I finally did my second liver flush. I did the first one over Memorial Day weekend and wanted to do one over the 4th of July but was not able to. I have to do it on the times when I have at least one extra day off work. I did it over Sunday and Monday. Since it had been so long since my first one I didn't really know what to expect. I wasn't really expecting any stones. I didn't have any on my first one. I was ok with that. What I've learned from others here on CZ is that sometimes you do not pass stones for the first few flushes. So when I saw one stone with my first BM, I was thrilled. I would have been happy with just that. But I ended up passing about 25-30 all together. They were smaller and soft. They would smush between my fingers when I mashed them. From what I understand those are newer formed stones and the older, harder ones will come later. Is that right? Or does the Malic Acid I take beforehand soften them to where they are like that? The first ones were a lighter green like peas. But the later ones were a darker more emerald green color. I didn't have that much trouble with the Epsom Salts . They are not the most pleasant things to drink but I've had worse. The oil and lemon juice is not a big deal either. I just gulp it all down quickly, pucker up, and shudder for a few seconds. This time I woke up with a little more nausea about 3 a.m. I had brewed some ginger tea and had it sitting by the bed. I took a few sips of that and a couple pieces of candied ginger. That helped a lot. Another thing different this time is that the epsom salts cleaned me out the night before. Last time I did not have any BMs until the next morning. All in all I feel like it was a very successful flush and am looking forward to doing more of them. I'm going to try to do one once a month. I'll just have to take a sick day off if there are no holidays in the month. I'm hopeful that they will help me with my severe MCS and mold hypersensitivities and who knows what else. It's the one thing I haven't tried. So hopefully it is another piece of my puzzle and will at least give me some improvement.
