Re: COCA-COLA..Nazi Symbols

The swastika symbol predates Nazism in the Orient by millenia. It has appeared in a number of places in imports (Pokémon cards come to mind...) which had to be removed because, here in the West, symbols are exactly the same as the thing they represent, even when they mean something else and represent something else somewhere else. So the symbol that the Nazis used IS EXACTLY THE SAME THING AS NAZIS and therefore must never be shown again.

It's kind of like thinking that a hand-drawn map of California IS California.

Bah.

As long as the swastika is associated with evil, the Nazis have maintained at least one small victory. If you really want to defeat the Nazis, don't let their use of a perfectly good symbol get in the way of others' use of that symbol.
