Anyway, I am balancing now, and hoping for the best. From what I was told, a potatoe with the skin on, so long as it is a small potatoe (more surface area) it's a healthy food in small amounts, with lots of butter.
If starch is bad though, then so are banana's, avacado's, buckwheat, and yams?
I personally believe each food has it's good and bad parts. Grains have phytates, crucifers have goitrogens, tubers have starch, legumes have phytates and fermentable sugars and too much fiber, green leafy veggies have pufa's and antinutrients,carrots have salycates and then there are phenols, eggs garlic and onions have sulfer, cooked meats have damaged fats and denatured protiens... I could go on. But each of these foods has necessary elements as well.
What I am getting at is food isn't labeled as good or bad, so long as there is balance. Too much of anything is unhealthy.
Except for GMO anything. We can demonize that stuff till the cows come home. That includes all wheat of today. It's all been GMO'd or hybridized. Icky icky icky.
