LD Di: Status Update 9 30 2010

Hi, all!

dfams asked how I am doing, so thought it was time for a status update.

Am still the using the tools and ideas I picked up from Ask Moreless forum. Have gotten steadily better over the time I have used these.

Still taking some Armour thyroid. However, my body temperature is now stable as it has ever been, usual temp about 99.1 F. Can run around barefoot and in shorts, short sleeves like a kid or teen when many others around my age are bundled up and complaining of the cold. Hoping to be able to cut down on my thy med dose at my soon coming blood tests.

Still taking OTC lithium. Bipolar disorder is nothing to fool around with. This is for insurance that some chem exposure does not set me off. Am now using lithium aspartate rather than the lithium orotate that I used for years. I attribute going from about 80% recovery on thyroid issues to 100% to this change. The l orotate messes with thyroid function.

Occasionally take some amino acids for neurological/mental symptoms. Use Taurine and GABA, occasionally melatonin, to calm jitters or help sleep. 5HTP and/or Tyrosine for a boost. Have to be very sparing and careful with the latter with my bipolar history, though!!!

Still doing a lot of rebounding. I love it!!!! Now that I am working on my house, nice not to have to spend a lot of time on walking using a gym.

All along, I have had mysterious plateaus or ups and downs that nothing and no one seemed to be able to account for. Think I have figured it out. Still have a gas stove, furnace [not operating] and water heater. Evidently, I am so sensitive to them that I do best with the stove off and all the windows open. Am busy setting up to go all electric and all a heat exchanger and great ventilation to my home. That should put me over the top, better than I have ever been in my life.

I am so delighted, and so grateful for all the help that I have received, here at CZ and elsewhere, especially the guidance of my loving wise and almighty God, Jehovah!!!! Desiring to serve him more fully, constant study of the Bible and prayer have lead the way in my recovery. These guided me though the jungle of information and misinformation that is out there to "help at the right time for it."

I hope and pray that others here at CZ will be similarly blessed.
