I don't believe that life begins at conception, that belief is a religious belief, and I am not a religious person.

A fetus is part of a woman's body, until it can survive on its own outside of the woman's body. Therefore it is the choice of the woman, as to what she wants to do with this part of her body. The choice of whether to continue with a pregnancy or not, is the choice of the woman that is pregnant, and no-one else.

The point that I would again like to make, is that pro-choice is not pro-abortion. Pro-choice recognizes that it is the choice of the individual woman, to terminate a pregnancy or not, not the rest of society.

I personally chose to keep my child, but that was a personal decision, and I have no right to force another woman to make that choice, and neither does anyone else.

My friend was given no choice, and there are very many women in the world just like she was, and in very similar situations. Yes it would be wonderful if there were people that would help women and children in these situations, but the reality is, that there is not.
