I'm so sorry you're going through all this! I have gone through something very similar. I also took antibiotics on and off for years for acne, including tetracycline (the stuff is terrible! It shouldn't even be legal if you ask me). The fact you took this and Accutane as well as contraceptives means you are highly susceptible to both candida and parasites. I ended up having an infestation of both when the "perfect storm" of antibiotics and not the healthiest diet led to these infections which produced such a toxic build up that my liver became extremely congested, my gallbladder clogged with sludge and parasite bodies, kidneys messed up, etc. What exacerbated the situation was a period of prolonged emotional stress (which you seem to also be demonstrating) which really wears down your adrenals. Once the adrenals are fatigued, your hormones get all out of whack (both sex and stress hormones) and you begin to have further varied symptoms from this in addition to the underlying infections.

I really couldn't agree more. First of all, stop the medications- like other users have said, they really will make things even worse than they already are. It will be slow progress but each good decision is a step closer to healing. You have to make yourself take each step (even though it's scary and will be unpleasant for a while) and try to remind yourself that your emotions are all over the place because your body is not functioning properly.

I saw SO many doctors and was tested for parasites but western medicine really doesn't address parasites well at all. It really is a hidden epidemic and is the underlying cause of a lot more health problems and diseases than people realize. It's a hidden epidemic in the US but the problem is we have come to think of it as only a third world problem mainly. I finally found some answers by finding a naturopathic practitioner who performed the QRA bi-digital o-ring test on me (which really stretches one's level of belief) but I was able to get onto a program using Premier Research Labs products which have been absolutely incredible. The test even tells the exact dosage I need and I'm re-tested each month to adjust dosages. I highly recommend finding a practitioner trained in QRA and I also highly recommend Parastat (along with castor oil packs), Quantum Adrenal Complex, Gold 360 for hormones (should balance out over a few months), vitamin D3, and Max Stress B- all by Premier Research Labs. This stuff really works!

As for the candida, the best way to combat it for me was to do a liquid oxygen treatment (I did Dr. Whitings) and maybe a couple times if you have a bad infestation (especially if you have a systemic candida). There's a lab test that the Parasitology Center in Arizona does through the mail, using stool samples, that checks for both parasites and candida BUT I would only rely on the candida results or try and see if they can only test for candida. Parasites are really difficult to test for because they have egg cycles where a bunch will hatch at each full moon (strange, I know) so if you take something that kills the live parasites off and then get tested before the next egg hatching cycle, the test will come out a false negative. This is why the castor oil packs are so important (they will force the eggs to hatch), then you must raise your body's ph level to more alkaline (I use Coral Legend- the QRA test found the dosage needed for my body) which forces the hatched parasites into your intestines where it is the only place acidic enough for them to survive. Then you kill them off with the Parastat which is one of the only known remedies that kills off all kinds of parasites. It's a complex process but the way to get rid of ALL of them (and it will take months most likely depending how many you have).
