Last month I reunited with an ex that I still had feelings for but always kepted my cool. He would call me and ask to go out for lunch and etc and with an open mind and heart, I acccepted these "casual dates" He would tell me how much he missed being around me and I figured I'll be honest too and tell him how much i still care for him. We both agreed that we still had feelings. He told me lets take it slow and see where life takes us meaning "friends first and lovers second" which I somewhat didnt mind..basically dating.
Here is where the problem starts. He has a female who works with in the music business and talks to all the time. I started noticing on his facebook flirty comments from him to her like calling her "wifey" and "i see wedding bells with you" and "we are meant to be together" etc. So i questioned him and he told me that she is JUST A FRIEND and not to worry. Now to be honest and didnt want to tell him that his comments hurt me because i didnt want to be TOO EMOTIONAL since we just started talking again and we are not commited. But a few days later i went on his facebook page and saw more flirty comments to her like"wifey" and i see her comments like "hubby" "your so good to me " etc. I started to see that he may like her and he was HAVING HIS CAKE AND EATING IT TOO by having me around as "backup". So i called him so we can meet up face to face and talk. I didnt give him the benefit to talk and i just told him how i felt and wanted out on this "new friendship" or whatever we had going on. I told him thate i needed to protect my heart and we cant be friends because im still in lovw with you. He was speechless but said that we have history together and i'm considered his "COMFORT ZONE' (whatever that means). I was done talkign and just walked out and said good bye. I can tell he was hurt in side. I also cried all day because I deeply cared for this man. Him and I have the same friends and one of my best friends called and told me that he talked to her. She told me that he said that he WANTS TO BE WITH ME but he rather get his personal life together financially and etc. which i could understand. But at the end of the day ACTIONS SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS and those comments and etc doesnt look like u MISSED ME at all. Am i overreacting or was it best i ended this???
BTW he just had a birthday on thangsgiving. I was tempted to atleast text him happy bday but i didnt. he also had a bday party dinner which i was invited to from him with a TEXT MESSAGE?! wtf? i didnt reply back. i figured i end ALL CONTACT with him. My friend went to the dinner party and told me that someone random asked my ex who is this wifey girl u keep posting on your facebook? and my friend said that my ex announced and said this is the girl and pointed to her. Now my friend says that it was all fun and games and a joke but to me for her to even get an announcement seems like he is letting the world know too about her.
I'm in desperate need of advice....
