Hope that your mother has recovered from C Difficile.

With relapses of C Difficile diarrhea high doses of probiotics have shown good results. The dosage would be up to 400 billion units a day. Another good approach might be to use TOTAL IMMUNE BOOSTER which has probiotic and allicin a natural garlic derivative and beta-glucan as well. I got good results from high doses of probiotics but the garlic derivative in TOTAL IMMUNE BOOSTER also serves to kill the bad bacteria while the probiotic is busy replacing good bacteria so it has a two fold approach. This would mimic the effect of antibiotics without the danger since these are natural products.

She should be on ongoing probiotics/digestive enzymes as elderly people often need them as the GI tract ages and it might give nature the added boost to heal her.
