As far as I can remember there has been one other person in the last 6 month who reported fainting. Ribbot and Flowerchild are correct the most common cause of your reaction is an imbalance in your electrolyte/water, which we commonly call dehydration. The Epsom Salt is hard on the body and pulls salt out of the intestines and lowers the blood pressure. You don't need the Epsom Salts the following day if you are feeling rough.

Keep drinking and start eating as soon as you can and the balance will put itself right.

The purpose of the Epsom salts on the second day is to prevent the body from reabsorbing cholesterol and bile salts from the flush because these may be contaminated. The body needs to produce fresh bile and mobilise cholesterol in the blood. This establishes a self sustaining cycle.
