Soo... Maybe the energizing effect was coming from the nicotine in the horsetail?  That's not good.

That would explain why I have been having trouble falling asleep.  I took it two days and had the hardest time falling asleep.  So yesterday I did not take any supplements at all and I still had a hard time falling asleep!  I won't take anymore of that Skin, Hair, Nails vitamin with the horsetail in it.  I will just wait until I get the DE and then I will try that stuff.

Afterall it would seem rather hypocritical of me to argue with my 23 yr old son that he needs to stop smoking when I am popping a vitamin that contains nicotine and makes me hyper.  It definitely feels like a stimulant to me.  I felt like I could talk 90 miles an hour nonstop until the people around me all had to leave because I was so annoying.
