I need to lose weight, I started a fast from today. However, it is my birthday on weds and a table has been booked at a restaurant for 10 of my friends and me. I plan not to eat at the meal... but what would you think is the best way to handle it-
1. order something like a salad, talk, play with the food and not eat it
2. just say I am not eating when the waiter comes to take my order, and then when people ask why and really surprised and omg why not you have to eat etc, then make up some excuse like I am having blood tests in the morning so I have to fast or something like that?
telling people that I am fasting is not an option- they will not understand.
i look forward to hearing from you
