It is not destructive to point out cancer myths.  It is destructive to keep promoting such myths.  People's lives are at stake here.  It is not a game of fantasy where people will find the good alkalinizing fairy and they are going to live happily ever after.

Alkalinizing the body has NOTHING to do with beating cancer.  Why is is that raw foodists on an alkaline diet still get cancer?  Why is it that people prone to acidosis from COPD don't always get cancer?  It is simple, pH has NOTHING to do with causing or curing cancer.

There are so many sites out there with hypotheses about cancer treatment that have NO idea what they are talking about.  This is why I recommend people do their own homework from credible sites, not sales sites.  Especially MLM sites, which are full of hype to justify their over priced products.

why do you oppose healing with alkalinity?

1. Because the hydroxides in Kangen water are some of the strongest free radicals known.  Hydroxides are also caustic, burning the tissues.  Tell me would you drink lye or Drano?  These are examples of hydroxides.  They are EXTREMELY destructive to the tissues.  Even magnesium hydroxide, which is produced with the Kangen machines is a laxative because magnesium hydroxide burns the intestinal wall. This is also why it is sold as a laxative (Milk of Magnesia).

2.  The hydroxides neutralize the stomach acid leading to the inability to digest proteins properly and to absorb many vitamins and minerals properly.  Since malnutrition is a common cause of death in cancer patients further inhibiting their ability to absorb nutrients is just outright stupidity.

3.  Neutralizing the stomach decreases the absorption of nutrients needed to reduce inflammatory homocysteine, which can contribute to cancer.

4. Reducing stomach acid increases the risk of pathogens entering the body through the digestive system since most pathogens are killed by acidity and thrive in alkalinity.  This is one of the ways our intestinal flora control pathogens and control Candida overgrowth.  They produce acids that kill the pathogens and keep Candida from going fungal.  In an alkaline environment the Candida goes fungal, which is when it can cause tissue damage.

5.  Alkalinizing puts more stress on the body since an alkaline state is also dangerous.  When people use alkalinizers they force the body to work overtime trying to get the pH back to normal.  But people do this on the false premise that acidosis is common.  The real fact is that acidosis is EXTREMELY rare because the body has redundant systems to keep its pH in check since both acidosis and alkalosis is dangerous to the body.

If you really want to help people here you can do that by stopping the constant advertising of all these sales sites that don't have a clue what they are talking about, and by learning how the body really works so you can weed through the sales hype from these sites.

It would also help if you did more research in to these companies.  For example with Kangen.  Why is it they lied about having a document of approval by the Japanese Ministry of Health?  If you enlarge that document is has NOTHING to do with the Ministry of Health.  It is simply a manufacturing license.  So why did Kangen lie?  And what else have they lied about?  Oh, I know one.  I have friend that lives in Tokyo, so I asked her about what they use for water over there.  Guess what, it was not alkalinized water.  She had never even heard of these machines. She said most of the homes in Japan simply use tap water.  So Kangen has an honesty issue as far as I am concerned.  Again, as an MLM company they are filling people's heads full of hype to justify their over priced garbage.  And in the process they are putting people's health at risk.
