Hello I am am on Day 17 of my Water fast. I am starting to have urges to eat. My tongue's white coating is almost but all gone away and my breath is getting fresher by the day. My acne hasn't come since the start of the fast and my skin looks a lot better. My urine is still darkish but getting better and I passed a dark stool yesterday (after two weeks of not going).
The reason why I posted is I want to ask experienced fasters here if it is smart to keep going? I am now 104lbs and my goal is at least 30-40 days. I am scared I might be 80 something odd lbs by then. Will my weight allow me to keep going or will I become anorexic and start starving?
Lately food is coming and going on my mind and if I think to much, I will start having stomach pangs. But my body doesn't look like the skeletal figure I thought I'd be at 104.
Some background background. Skip if it is irrelevant to you. I ate mainly meat most of my life because of my culture. 4 years ago, I turned to drugs, smoking, and alcohol which last till last year. Almost 3 years ago, I became vegetarian because meat was making me sick and last summer I became vegan. Also, I had a history of using a lot of antibiotics to combat acne orally and topically. Cutting meat, dairy, drugs has greatly diminished my acne, but it comes back every month in a form of a breakout. Some days I look great and some days not at all. Stated again, I have not had a breakout since the fast but only 2 pimples that are going away.
I did this fast to eliminate my acne and toxins in my body and to cleanse and repair my body. Then I will start eating a healthy diet filled with raw food.
