Mirena - HELP I NEED ADVICE!!!

Hello everyone.

I'm a single mother of two boys 8 and 10yr old. My 10yr old has Aspergers and health problems and I am his carer as he has a lot of time off of school.

I've had a total of 2 mirena's for 7yrs now.
I have suffered with lots of problems that until reading some of your notes just thought it was me going mad!!

The doctors have had me on all sorts of medication for depression, panic attacks, unable to sleep, racing heart.
My symptoms are so bad now that I decided to have it taken out and made an appointment to see the doctor to which she said we need to make sure that you making the decision in the right frame of mind!!!! She asked me some questions and apparently my stress level is very high! I came out of there feeling really low.

Until 7yrs ago I hadn't suffered with any of these problems before. I get bad spots around my jaw line. I've gained weight even though I eat a balanced healthy diet and exercise. I just thought it was the stress of looking after my son, as he doesn't sleep very well, has behavioral problems and due to medical problems with his stomach he has a lot of time off of school.

I get such bad mood swings and have to walk away from the children and I get so upset and in floods of tears about anything, even an advert on tv. It's just all become to much so will be having it out in next couple of weeks. I've had urine infections, bacterial vaginosis, physically and emotionality exhausted most days. I've also become more and more forgetful but not sure if that would be linked.

What do you recommend I can do or take to help ease the 'cold turkey' effect??
