I'd like to know where this information came from. I recognize at least one of the doctor's names, but am not familiar with the material.

Before employing a longterm fast, I suggest people really do their research. Personally, I'd never consider a fast of a length over 3 days without a daily enema. I've fasted dozens of times at lengths as long as 145 and 105 days. Enemas are not pleasant, but they do the job they are intended to do. It's amazing the junk that is still released from the body after months of fasting...
