    Does anyone have any advice about pregnancy whilst a Mirena IUD is still present in the body and the potential side effects this can cause to the baby? I understand that spontaneous abortion and pre-term labour can occur, however I am due to have my baby in 8 days time so neither of these things have happened to me. I am however concerned about the problems that can/could be associated with the hormones/toxicity of the Mirena and how this might affect the genital growth of my baby and possibly many other side effects. I could really do with some professional advice regarding this, or some help from someone who this has happened to.
