for me this is just another confirmation on our doing; to much Iodine without its companion minerals may make trouble. This ND mentions selenium, thats about it.

Then we have the piece of math; daily one consume mg dosages of fluoride and bromide, hardly anyone except the japanese and the ones in this forum + a few other lucky ones have a iodine level that can match the halogen storm we are in right now. Just by eating food and brushing our teeth, drinking our water.

When it comes to side effects of iodine; a very few in this forum have experienced hyper thyroid symptoms, and if; this have been a trancient phase.
30-40 years ago this was a "common" disease. Nowadays hardly anyone I know of have a tendency towards the hyper side (unless they take drugs.)
-most people I know tend to the hypo T side; and 90 % of the women at my age (40ish) do. Hardly anyone knows this as their doc says their tests are fine. I can tell you this; they have a hard time; they feel that no one can help them!
-and after xx times with their doc or even NDs they come to see me.
