Speaking from experience, stress will knock you for a loop and then once you are there, you stress more.

I had a doc try to give me prednisone, I wouldn't take it. I know some people need it if they have Addison's but for adrenal fatigue, it can atrophy the adrenals.

Blood sugar problems go hand-in-hand with adrenal fatigue. I had a glucose tolerance test once that sent my system through the roof. Once you get your adrenals working better, the blood sugar regulates.

Adrenal fatigue also messes with your thyroid hormone but if you don't address the adrenals first, the thyroid won't work properly from what I understand.

Taking magnesium, natural vitamin C and B vitamins, nettle leaf and if you can find one, an adaptogen herb that won't stimulate the adrenals, will all help greatly.

The biggest thing is to do whatever you can to relax and I know how difficult that can be.

I took a bath with Epsom salt in it which is a form of magnesium if you don't have any to take right now, it really helps.

I had really bad adrenal fatigue, got back to 100% and then had stress knock my system down, I am doing what it takes to rebuild them.
