I think what struck me the most was the lack of correlation between Amalgams and human disease.

Also, there were 6 or so pages beyond the study with supporting info. He makes a compelling case, though so does the anti-amalgam side.

I understand there's always more to the story, but it's beginning to seem to me that at typical doses, you should be able to clear this stuff. Which suggests to me that the problems that cause accumulation may really center around under-methylation and poor antioxidant status.

Once it accumulates though, you may have no choice but to chelate, since high levels effectively block methylation.

Here's an interesting page that traces the path of the three main species of mercury through the body, including the half life of each and how it is eliminated.
