Oh, I can't really describe the difference. It is much more powerful. I didn't follow their example that I referred to. I do not put the baking soda in it just plain ascorbic acid. I had my recipe from another place that didn't call for the baking soda. I usually take around 10 grams a day of ascorbic acid. Last winter I had some chest congestion that just wouldn't go away until I took two good swigs of my homemade liposomal Vitamin C twice a day and in three days my chest was clear. I tried two of the 30 watt cleaners and they both went out after just a few times of making the vitamin C. I then found a 60 watt cleaner on EBay and it has lasted over a year already. Heating up the water helps but not too much as I overheated it once and the water and the lecithin separated and did not work. I let the lecithin dissolve in the water with just a little agitation then let it set for at least 45 minutes then shake the jar until I see that the lecithin is well dissolved then proceed to the ultrasonic cleaner and run it for 6 to 7 minutes. I use a straw to stir up the mixture a little after I put the vitamin C in then let it run.
