Re: Water sits heavy in stomach

I have had the feeling that water felt heavy on my stomach. The underlying cause of my digestive problems was/is gluten sensitivity. When I eat gluten foods it causes an autoimmune reaction in the small intestine. The inflammation and swelling slows down the partly digested food going thru that area so that when I ate or drank water it would stay in my stomach until the intestine cleared out and allowed it to pass on. I also had several intestinal parasites clogging the small intestine and some food allergies and Gallstones causing more congestion.

For many years I did not know I was sensitive to gluten in wheat, barley and rye but I did find that programs to improve digestive health were very helpful.
