Suspicious Mammogram?

Hi,
Anyone else had a suspicious mammogram and have to have a repeat?

Already had fibrocystic breast prior to Mirena (it was supposed to help them!). I have had annual screening ultrasounds / biannual mammograms since April 2003 - nothing suspicious until Mirena. Since Mirena insertion in May 2007 I have had two fna biopsies of complex cysts (histology was clear) which I attributed to the hormonal imbalance from Mirena.

My recent ultrasound was good, many of the numerous cysts had collapsed (I assume since Mirena removal as my breast have returned to my "normal" size and tissue density - they got bigger and very firm).
My mammogram however was not so good, now the breast is not so dense a mammogram is able to see more, the radiographer took two films of the left armpit area while I was there on the pretext there was a fold in my skin, 10 days later I have been told there is "suspicious dense tissue up into the left armpit, I need a further mammogram, any necessary further testing will be done on that day, take a family member and be prepared for a half day stay at the hospital". I am hanging on that "necessary" and hoping it is "not necessary" for any further testing.

I am almost 7 months post removal after numerous problems, much like everyone else - thanks to the Mirena pioneers who walked the road before me this forum has been a great help, but I can't find any info about my latest problem, I am hopeful someone has been there before me

Anyone had the same happen to them and it was a false alarm? If not I will update as this unfolds - my appointment is Tuesday morning.
