Btw -- I don't know if you currently have fillings or not, but if you do and you need to get them removed, look for a dentist who's a member of IAOMT -- he/she will be a mercury-free dentist who should know a lot about how to remove the fillings safely.
I mention this because I trudged around for 2 months after realizing I needed to get my fillings out searching for a dentist who would remove them properly and was THIS close to having them removed by a local guy who didn't follow most of the safety protocols (I was actually in the chair and he had injected numbing solution in one area already when I discovered that he didn't actually use half the safety measures he mentioned on his web site!). I ended up finding another dentist a hour away who was excellent, but between having an initial consultion with the 1st dentist, waiting to get in to see him and then having to find the 2nd dentist, I wasted probably 6 weeks before I ultimately got the darn things removed. I don't know about you, but I felt so awful at that time that I was only operating at about 30%, and I didn't really have 6 weeks to waste!
Getting my fillings out helped with the anxiety and helped a little with sleep (I haven't slept well in ages...went at least 6 months with only 3-4 hrs sleep a night), but the thing that's had the biggest impact for me thus far is getting the candida under control, along with getting out a bunch (hopefully most?) of my parasites.
If you had asked me 6 months ago about either candida or parasites, I would have told you you were crazy since I was certain I didn't have either, haha. I didn't typically have a lot of bloating/digestive problems (although I had lots of other candida symptoms...athlete's foot/toenail fungus, ringworm, severe fatigue/insomnia/depression) and I certainly didn't think most of us in suburban areas had parasites -- boy was I wrong! I started doing Humaworm's protocol and started passing tons of liver flukes (I initially wasted a month with some commercial parasite forumulation and got out only a few so I didn't think I had much of a problem...not the case -- I just wasn't taking a very powerful remedy and it wasn't killing much!). If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have wasted my time with that stuff.
Anyway -- those are my thoughts. It would probably be worth your time to read Cutler's "Amalgam Illness" or Hal Huggins "It's All in Your Head". Cutler's book is, frankly, written and organized pretty poorly (the listings in the indexes don't actually match up with the content half the time) but there's a lot of good information in there. If you don't want to actually buy that book, you can glean a lot of the key information from it from this board. One of the most helpful things he offers, I believe, is a system of "counting rules" to help you determine from a hair test whether you likely have mercury toxicity or not. His counting rules match most easily with hair tests from Doctor's Data and you can visit their web site and order a test directly from it.
Right now, I hover between 50% and 60%, but I've only been through 2 chelation treatments and I haven't added ALA to my routine yet, which is something I plan to do in a couple of weeks. That should help me start getting some of the mercury out of my brain.
You'll find tons of helpful information here. Good luck!
