Oh yeah, definitely.
I think the reason why my acne originally came back (after 4 years of clean skin) was because after moving to Japan, I kinda stopped caring about what I ate. I started eating some foods that I KNOW aren't very good (snacks like Pringles, or ramen noodles, stuff like that), and so the acne came back.
Today, on my first day off the cleanse, I'm taking giant doses (within reason) Primal Defense Ultra probiotics, and another kind as well. I'm hoping that this, along with being more careful with what I eat, will help the acne stay away for a long period, as it did last time.
I only wish I could avoid white rice, but I'm afraid that'll be impossible... I'm a school teacher, you see, and I always eat lunch with the junior high schoolers... and there's white rice almost every day. (I eat the brown one at home though).
Oh well, I'm planning on doing this every summer from now on, so let's hope I'll be able to stay clear!
Oh, and remember how I was worried about losing muscles? Well, I lifted weights almost every day, and lost almost nothing! I can tell because my arms still fill the sleeves of my t-shirt the same as before :D
Actually, according to the scale, my muscle percentage went UP! I know I certainly didn't build any new muscles, so it has to be in comparison to the fat (which went down), but it's nice to know that I didn't lose any, either.
