most of them (the networks) are owned by publically traded companies. in the myth of our mondern world, these corporations are owned by their "shareholders" who we are led to assume consist of multitudes of individual shareholders. a dirty little secret however is that controlling shares of the largest corporations are held in very few hands... though nearly impossible to trace, through various trusts and holding companies... it appears that the largest multinational banks own controlling interests in all the largest corporations (including media). so who owns the banks? very hard to trace, but, anyone paying attention should be able to connect the dots to the families who own the central banks and largest U.S. banks. all one big happy corporate family.
